		<description>What if no photo was taken in Vietnam?  What if they hadn&#039;t divorced?  Jack would have gotten away with the patent unless the Vietnamese man came to know about it, came to the US, and sued Jack.  Is that a correct assumption of possible events?  I am just trying to understand the actual logic behind otherwise &quot;arbitrary&quot; laws.  Thank you.</description>
